On-off intennittency observed on a coupled map system composed of chaotic oscillators is an aperiodic switching between synchronized chaos and non-synchronized chaos. The intennittency occurs near the edge of chaos on bifurcation diagrarn of coupling strength, and that needs to tune the parameters sensitively. In a previous paper, we proposed the notion of observational heterarchy and applied it to a coupled map system. In this paper, we propose a simpler model based on the same motivation. With expanding the coupled map system based on observational heterarchy, we find out appearance of the intennittency in various parameter regions. The observational heterarchy is a structure that is found in systems composed of agents with their internal perspective. In the science of complex systems, as a persistence different to stability on dynamical systems, robustness is recently addressed related to heterarchy. Through the diversification of the parameter leading to inter-mittency, our model reveals robustness.
