摘要

Collaboration and e-business technologies help companies to better interact with customers and suppliers, to integrate their business process (development, manufacturing, sales) and to increase the access to information. But how is mis information organized? What is the basis that will supply information to the "e" environment? Configuration Management (CM) is the process that makes the product and process information available, managing requirement and changes to perform optimal results. The objective of this paper is to present an overview of CM, showing the impact of new technologies on the evolution of CM concepts and solutions.
