Organic-inorganic hybrid materials have begun to play a major role in the development of advanced functional materials1.Research into such functional hybrids has attracted the interests of chemists,physicists,and materials scientists interested in creating novel materials that combine the functionalities of organic and inorganic components.Polyoxometalates(POMs) are discrete and anionic metal-oxide clusters with frameworks built from transition metal oxyanions linked by shared oxide ions,which are of current interest as soluble metal oxides and for their applications in catalysis,medicinal chemistry,and materials science2.
