Corrosion of metallic materials in molten alkaline halogenides and carbonates

Our Institute of High-Temperature Electrochemistry has a big experience in investigation of corrosion processes in molten salts. For more than 40 years the laboratory of corrosion of our institute has been studying the interaction between inorganics (oxides, carbides, nitrides and soon) and more particularly metallic materials and molten salts depending on temperature, atmosphere, ionic composition of salts, chemical activity of metals, of alloys component and of intermetalloids.
