It is one of the most important things to keep our body both physically and mentally strong and to maintain a healthy mind to accomplish missions while living comfortably under the closed environmental life support systems in space infrastructure, such as the International Space Station (ISS), Lunar Base and beyond.rnIt is essential to use the effects of color power for space life in the closed environment in space. Color has a very powerful effect both physically and mentally for our well being. It could be very useful to apply such a color power to life in space.rnColor has a deep relationship to our organic activities as well as psychological aspects. Furthermore, color has various kinds of effects on our feelings and it effects our actions by reason of affective tone and sensory feeling. Also, color has effects on both cognition and emotion. This is because the autonomic nervous system is influenced by color very much. In fact, in the special circumstances in space, the role of clothing - not EVA space suits or pressure suits - but casual clothes for wearing in space habitats could be different from ones in our terrestrial daily lives.rnAs for the role of casual cloth wearing in space, it is important for functions such as protection of bodies under microgravity, refreshment in closed systems, personal temperature control, keeping and checking health, control functions for each individual additional the normal function of comfort, favorite wear effect psychologically, size matching, movement function, easiness both in wearing and taking off, and suitable materials in general.rnFurthermore, casual wear is important for the small community in a closed habitation in space. We cannot change the habitat interior color in space very easily. It means that we cannot expect color change effects in space habitation. However, we can change color in the space habitat environment easily only by changing casual wear so that in space itrnmakes an important role for changing color in habitation in space. Consequently, casual wear in space affects not only the wearers, but also the other people staying in the same infrastructure.rnI studied the role of casual wear in space from the point of view of color psychology and importance of casual wear design choices for living in space.
