摘要

The aim of cloud computing is to deliver the efficient computing and well managed resources and their efficient utilization. All these efficiency features are obtainable using the concept of Virtualization. The “computing-as-a-service” vision is the derivative of the virtualization. Virtual machine features i.e. resource provisioning, separation and relocation of machine state have designed for improving the efficiency of resource usage and dynamic resource provisioning. In cloud computing service model, cloud providers offer resources to users/machines that include computers as virtual machines, raw (block) storage, load balancers, memory location, and network devices. One of the most vital issues in cloud computing for service model is memory utilization whichever satisfying current need of the data transfer using VM management in cloud based applications. In this survey paper, we are going to investigate different memory utilization strategies which help to evaluate and minimize the memory utilization in cloud computing environment. In addition to that, we are proposing a short overview of the proposed concept by which we try to find the impact on scheduling to reduce memory utilization in computational cloud during high amount of data transfer and process execution over the cloud.
