When a spherical shock wave propagated through a grid turbulence onto a flat surface, the post-shock overpressure atrna shock Mach number of 1.002 experienced a standard deviation of about 10 % of its average value and 50 times as largernas the corresponding turbulent dynamic pressure. With varying the root mean square in flow velocity fluctuation, u_(rms), andrna turbulence length scale, λ, the post-shock overpressure, ΔP, was repetitively measured 500 or 1000 times under eachrncondition. The standard deviation in the peak value of ΔP almost scaled with urms.
