摘要

Introduction Ruminant animals rely mainly on hepatic gluconeogenesis pathway to maintain glucose homeostasis(Reynolds,2006).Nonetheless,increased glucogenic precursors supply,via food or ruminal infusions,does not always elicit predicted increments in glucose production (Hurtaud et al.,1993;Kristensen,2005;Lemosquet et al.,2009;Vanhatalo et al.,2003a).Our hypothesis is that undernormal feeding conditions,different forage diets may affect glucose metabolism of bovine liver and milk yield of cows.Therefore,objective of this study was to identify the response of genes related to hepatic glucose metabolism to diets with different forage sources.
