A new algorithm for the design of overloaded realvaluedrnsignature sets with total-squared-correlation equal tornWelch bound equality (WBE) sets is presented. It is proved thatrnif K=N+1 the normalized cross correlation between any pair ofrnsignatures in a set obtained by the proposed algorithm is eitherrn-1/(K-1) or +1/(K-1) and the entire cross correlation matrix G isrnobtained analytically. Using this algorithm we solved the openrnproblem of existence of complex valued WBE sequence sets withrnconstant chip magnitude in the simplex case. The results arernderived in the context of synchronous code division multiplernaccess (CDMA) channels and a numerical example for K=3 andrnN=2 is given.
