The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) has implemented a complete e-Procurement system based on the use of Tranmit's Sprinter Purchase Management and Microsoft Windows 2000 and SQL software. The UKAEA implemented a system with an Intranet based Catalogue, punch out to suppliers web sites such as RS Components, creation of a Financial Shared Service centre and interfaces with their existing finance system Cfacs.
