This paper presents the preliminary results of a comparison of the techno-economic performance of thernconversion technologies for the production of renewable jet fuel (RJF). RJF produced via the Hydroprocessed Estersrnand Fatty Acids (HEFA) pathway is currently the best option as it shows the lowest minimum fuel selling price and isrnproduced on a commercial scale already. HTL and pyrolysis emerge as the most economically feasible alternativesrnfor HEFA RJF on the short term.
