At present, the safety and reliability of pressure vessels are generally concerned by all circles of society, especially the structural performance detection and safety condition monitoring of large pressure vessels are of great significance to the development of national economy and the safety and stability of production practice. The mechanical properties of a high pressure cylindrical pressure vessel under different pressures are studied in this paper. The finite element analysis software ANSYS is used to calculate and analyze the maximum stress of pressure vessel under different working conditions, and the stress and strain under several specific pressures are simulated respectively. The radial stress and axial stress of the compression structure of cylindrical pressure vessel were measured by fiber grating sensor, and the experimental results were compared with the theoretical simulation results, which verified the correctness of the simulation results.
