摘要

This paper proposes a noble scheme employing Fuzzy logic(FL) algorithm for the efficient and reliable operation of an adaptive Single-Phase Auto Recloser (ASPAR). The detection and diagnosis of faults been carried through Distance Measuring Relay(DMR). The proposed system involves fuzzy logic, logic gates, timers to accurately sort out the type of fault based on angular difference of the phases. The unspecified tripping signals of the traditional protection relay are recognized by the blocking signals of the fuzzy logic based fault classifier to yield a trained signal to auto re-closure scheme. The designed system is simulated using PROTEUS. The simulation results ensure the efficient working of fuzzy logic algorithm by explicit fault detection.
