摘要

The undoubted merits of induction motor drives supplied by variable voltage and variable frequency inverters have impressed to increase their utilization in practical applications. One of the important power quality issues involved in power electronic converters is flow of harmonic currents during power conversion process using power electronic switches. The harmonic generation has an adverse impact on electromagnetic compatibility. This paper presents the performance of three phase induction motor drive fed by single phase A.C supply through an embedded based V/f inverter in AC-DC-AC conversion stages.
