Vehicle is one of the most important transportation for the mobility of the people in the world. Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicle is an emerging transportation platform introduced over the past decades. Fuel cell vehicles have the potential of being highly efficient compared to current vehicles. So the fuel cell vehicles is a promising technology in the future vehicle development of eliminating the environmental pollution from the vehicles completely. But the efficient power splitting is not considered between the fuel cell and the vehicle. The power produced from the Fuel Cell system is to be limited to operate at its peak power. The developed Fuel Cell model is not based on constant DC current. The proposed model is focused on designing the KY boost converter based Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicle including the modeling of energy management and vehicle dynamics. The motive is to increase the drive train efficiency. By comparing the results of KY boost converter of the fuel cell hybrid vehicle with a Boost converter, the regenerative braking, the ripple voltages, and motor torque were reduced during the driving operations. The State of Charge is controlled within the limits so that it improves the battery life of the vehicle. The model performance is analyzed by using the MATLAB and Simulink TM software packages.
