According to the simulation experiment of high voltage cable defect, the simulation platform of high voltage cable is designed and built. The simulation platform includes booster unit, cable model unit, up flow unit and control unit, and integrates partial discharge, temperature, grounding current online monitoring device. The simulation platform can simulate and analyze all kinds of main insulation, semi-conducting layer, grounding system and insulation defect of high voltage cable. Through the analysis of the function of each component of the simulation platform, the simulation test ability of the platform is verified to ensure the accuracy and precision of the experiment results.
