Implementation of transformerless step - up converter and H6 inverter for single phase AC applications

摘要

To effectively utilize the abundant renewable sources for single phase AC applications, a new transformerless converter topology is proposed. A Cockcroft-Walton voltage multiplier based step up converter and an H6 inverter is integrated. This single phase converter topology having applications ranging from small power supplies to power grids guarantees high efficiency,low cost, smaller size and weight. The simulation analysis is carried out for the aforementioned converter topology which validates the effectiveness of the converter.
