This paper discusses how galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS) affects human perception of tilt. Experimental subjects were asked to stand on a tilting platform and guess the elevation level of tilt with and without GVS as well as with and without vision. The study did not show significant differences among subjects' perception between cases where GVS was and was not present.
