The research of Bio-Electromagnetics has moved in to a range of subnanosecond pulsed electric field to treat cancer cells. The Impulse Radiating Antenna (IRA) is suited for radiating subnanosecond electromagnetic impulse for the treatment of skin cancer noninvasively. The feed of the reflector Impulse Radiating Antenna (IRA) is an ultra-wideband antenna. The subnanosecond electric pulse is radiated from the first focal point and is focused at the second focal point where the target (tumor) is placed. In this proposed work, two types of radiators are designed. The Prolate Spheroidal Reflector (PSR) with Elliptic Profile Horn (EPH) feed and the Prolate Spheroidal Reflector (PSR) with Slanted Wire Bicone (SWB) feed are designed. The design parameters and radiation performance are presented. The radiated electric pulse from the antenna with duration of 100ps, results in charging of membrane and the formation of nano pore which are the dominant bioelectric effects on cells. The size of the pore is increased by repetitive pulsing. Irreversible damage of cell is caused by multiple pulses.
