A Study on the Features of Eye Movement Based on Different Types of Poetry Reading

This article acquisition the eye movement signal from the liberal arts students and college students of science and engineering, when they reading different style Chinese poetries which are writen in preqin, WeiJin, Tang, Song, the period of the republic and modern times. Through statistics and analysis, we can draw the following conclusion.1) The factors of portry, like the form of language, the content and the arrangment, all can influence the eye movement track when we are reading. And the language form is the most important factor when reading. 2)The difference between liberal arts students(LAS) and students of science and engineering(SSE)'eye movement feature in reading, we can see that the SSE pay more attention to the meaning and content in reading, however, the LAS pay more attention to understanding and experience the thoughts and feeling the poetry conveyed.
