Conceptual framework study on dynamic visual reminiscent therapy in Alzheimer psychosocial treatment

Alzheimer's disease is a degenerative brain disease that gradually annihilates individual's brain cells and initiates evolution deterioration in cognitive function. Alzheimer's disease patients suffer a regression in the reminiscence sectors, concentration and way of thinking. Alzheimer's disease does not only affect the patient, but as the disease progresses patients become increasingly dependent on others in many aspects, such as performing activities of daily living, caring for their health and maintaining their welfare. In fact, there is no cure for this disease. The available therapeutic options include drugs, psychosocial and lifestyle interventions consecutively to relieve cognitive and conductible indications. The state of the art has determined that psychosocial remedies are able to reduce corrosion in Alzheimer's patients' circumstance. Reminiscence therapy can be used for psychosocial treatments for Alzheimer's. Reminiscence psychoanalysis can reduce melancholy symptoms, assist group participation and persuade associates to appraise their accomplishments. Several modern therapy approaches have began to integrate multimedia visual based technology in their therapy session for a better outcome. However, little attention has been given to understand the dynamic visual effects in reminiscence theory which this key field merits. Hence, the conceptual framework on how to investigate this problem was proposed. The framework will be a major guideline in producing multimedia application in dynamic visual for reminiscent therapy in psychosocial treatment for Alzheimer.
