With the development of market uncertainties, it is sure that traditional stable supply chain needs to transform to dynamic supply chain whose responsiveness to the changing environment is much stronger than traditional one. But dynamic supply chain also brings some unpredictability to enterprise compare. In this case, fractal supply chain based on fractal theory was proposed in order to seek the balance point between the stability and flexibility of supply chain. This paper introduces the concept and characteristic of fractal supply chain. Then we make a conclusion about fractal supply chain models, including self-similarity model, self-organization model and self-optimization model, and focus on the evaluation criteria of self-similarity based on fractal dimension. At last, we point out the trend of the development of future fractal supply chain and the direction of further researches on the basis of fractal supply chain literature.
