Cloud computing: The new opportunities for development of university informatization

摘要

With the development of computer and communication technology, the universities informatization also gradually deepens, and the drawbacks which result from information isolation, multi-platforms and other factors are showing step by step. With the emergence of a new computing model-cloud computing in the 21st century, it brings people new hope. This paper discusses new opportunities for university informatization brought by cloud computing based on the five essential characteristics of it.
