Design of firewall hardware platform for small office and home office

In order to solve the problem of hardware firewall in medium and small enterprises, it is designed a kind of small 0ffice/home office (SOHO) firewall platform based on Intel®IXP425.It uses equal-length snakelike routing method, and in accordance with 3W spacing principle to have solved PCB design difficulties of high-speed signal SDRAM. To control IXP425 kernel power sequence by using MAX6423XS16''s delay sexual ably. The test result show that the performance of hardware platform works well and steadily.
