In this paper, a double-balanced common gate folded Gilbert mixer with low voltage supply and low power consumption is presented in 0.13um CMOS technology. This mixer features the common gate gm stage following by a folded LO switch stage. These two stages can be biased independently to achieve gain, linearity and noise figure specification in a wideband range. The simulation shows this mixer can achieve 6.3∼11.8dB conversion gain, 9.8∼15.2dB noise figure, 39dBm∼48dBm second-order intermodulation intercept point(OIP2), and around −7.5dBm Input Referred 1dB compression point between 2.5GHz∼7.5GHz with 7mW power consumption under 1.5V voltage supply.
