The purpose of static or dynamic posturography is to study balance response mechanisms by examining the centers of pressure of the body contact on a pressure measure platform. The diagnostic uses force platforms to be measured the distribution of body weight. In the Dynamic force platforms, a mobile mechanical mechanism cause the patient to lose his balance and diagnostic software analyses the ability to retrieve the balance on varied tests similar to everyday life situations. Numerous pathologies can cause Balance disorders. Surveys found that vestibular vertigo has incidence of 1.5% of the total population. One person in three over 65 years old has at least one fall a year, with consequences in terms of morbidity and mortality because of their traumatic consequences (9,000 deaths a year). Also, falls have psychological consequences (post-fall syndrome; phobia of falling) results on loss of autonomy and social isolation. The method proposed in the present research for assessing the expected clinical benefit of the posturography procedures, is based on improves the traditional posturography equipment The additional equipments suggested are Motion capture and the virtual reality unit. The motivation of the use of this technology in the postulography equipment is the identification of specific sensory and motor impairments more accurate, by quantifying the relation between the difficulty level of the movement and the performance of the patient. With these additional elements the medical staff can generate different kind of conflict in sensorial stimulus, creating an effective strategy to take pathological information quantitative and accurate.
