Poly (vinylidene Fluoride)-graft-Poly (Nisopropylacrylamide)/ Poly (vinylidene Fluoride) (PVDF-g-PNIPAAm/PVDF) blending hollow fiber membranes were prepared via dry-wet spinning technique by using N, Ndimethylformamide (DMF) as solvent and polyethylene glycol (PEG) as poremaking agent. The chemical structures of the blending membrane were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), the cross-section morphology was obtained from Scanning electron microscope (SEM). The influence of blending ratio of PVDF-g-PNIPAAm/PVDF on the morphology, thermal property, hydrophilicity and pure water permeation were investigated. The results showed that with the increasing of the blending ratio, the porosity, hydrophilicity and pure water flux of the blending membranes were improved, and the melting point (Tm) decreased. The hollow fiber membrane fabricated with blending ratio of 50/50 (wt%) exhibited distinct temperature-sensitive behaviors, that is, the pure water flux decrease drastically at around 31℃ for the phase transition of grafting PNIPAAm chains.
