Universities in nowadays foster the spirit of love, running a modern university. The love spirit of university is not only practical, but also rational, and implicates the dual quality of moral values and rational principles. In other words, the moral value of love spirit of universities achieves its beauty and nobility by high lightening humanistic values. The rational principles of love spirit play a role of a firm stone of nobility and transcendence of love spirit. Through the study of the characteristics of ancient Chinese education in humanity, we can have a philosophical thinking about the rational principles of the love spirit of contemporized universities.
