SHOP CONTROL MEASURES

Many organizations work hard to develop shop control measures in the form of rules, policies andrnprocedures. All of these are designed to prevent injury and efficiently produce high quality products. Thernproblem is that even when employees have very specific instructions they often do not follow them. Whilernsome of the lack of adherence to shop floor procedures is intentional most of the time it is not intentionalrnbut the result of habit or unintentional behavior. In this session we will find out "why people do what theyrndo" and how we can improve their safety skills and increase productivity.
