Research conducted in Atofina into rotomoldingrnpolymers product and processing development has ledrnto new product developments that allow designers ofrnrotomolded tanks to improve barrier performance.rnNew multi-layer rotomolding polyethylene:polyamiderntechnology is discussed that allows designers tornoptimize both costs and barrier performance.rnProcessing conditions and tank properties are reviewed.rnThis paper also introduces a new PVDF fluoropolymerrnspecifically designed for rotational molding. Thisrnproduct combines the excellent chemical resistancerncharacteristics of PVDF with good moldingrncharacteristics and high toughness.
