摘要

The pure-gas and multicomponent adsorption behaviour of a glassy carbon (P3M) obtained by controlled pyrolysis ofrnpolyfurfuryl alcohol has been studied. For this purpose, isotherm adsorption experiments at high pressure of pure CH4, C2H6rnand CO2 gases and different mixtures of the same gases were carried out. The Grand-Canonical Monte Carlo simulationrntechnique has been used in order to find a pore size distribution for this material that allows prediction of pure componentrnadsorption equilibria. The predictions obtained are in very good agreement with the experimental results.
