Study on Nylon Fiber Dyeing Part I Leveling Agent Application and Techniques

摘要

An ideal leveling agent for acid dyes that is used for dyeing nylon fabric shall have good level dyeing, good fiber dyeing coverage, no impact on the dyes exhaustion rate and coloration, and enhancement in the compatibility of dyes combination. In the dyeing process, different kinds of acid dyes should be applied with different kinds of leveling agent. This Study proved that, for using acid dyes in light and middle color dyeing, a leveling agent could increase starting temperature and improve criticale area for dyeing in order to obtain leveling effect. However, for dyeing dark colors, a leveling agent would not have a huge impact on the starting temperature and the factor of dyeing dangerous areas.
