In this paper, the bond strengths of epoxy/polyamine adhesives modified by amine-terminated butadiene acrylonitrile rubbers have been studied. The effects of acrylonitrile content, ATBN contents, polyamine contents, cure conditions, etc. on lap shear strength and peel strength of epoxy adhesives have been investigated. Experimental results show that ATBN is a good toughening agent to epoxy adhesives.
