摘要

The urban development of our cities has often made overhead power lines, almost always pre-existing, closely affected by the presence of new infrastructure and residential homes. The following questions arise from this aspect: “Is it possible to think of new overhead power lines arrangements, built with innovative solutions, with lower environmental impact compared to traditional solutions?” Further “were all this possible, what would the specific features and problems of these solutions be? And finally, as regards the magnetic field emission, “what would the performance of these overhead line innovative solutions be like, compared to the underground cable solution?” The above questions stimulated the research and application feasibility of “low magnetic field” technical solutions, traditional and innovative, described in this paper.
