Cost minimization through TQM in a corrugated box plant

摘要

This paper examines a case study of an industrial company that manufacture corrugated paper boxes in the Sultanate of Oman and explores the benefits of applying Total Quality Management (TQM) as a tool for enhancing manufacturing competitiveness. The aim of this paper is to show that application of TQM concepts and techniques, will provide packaging industries with improved quality, increased productivity, and reduced costs.
