Whispering Gallery Mode Dielectric Resonator Gunn Oscillator

摘要

A microstrip dielectric resonator (DR) Gunn oscillator using whispering gallery modes of dielectric resonator at Q band (33-50) GHz is presented. The planar integrated circuit is fabricated over a high resistivity duroid. The output power of more than 15 mW is achieved at 33.47 GHz from the oscillator. The chip size is 4X3 cm~2.
