Implementation of INAP for AIN Service Switching Point

摘要

This paper presents the design and implementation methods of INAP which have been tested on the AIN SSP Prototype.The Advanced Intelligent Network(AIN) enables rapid service creation,easy implementation of new services,and standardization of network interface.To meet the need for standardized interface,Service Switching Point(SSP) should support Intelligent Network Application Protocol(INAP) which provides various eommunication methods among network elements.INAP consists of 3 functional blocks,i.e.,Multiple Association Control Function(MACF),Single Association Control Function(SACF), and Application Service Element(ASE)set.To implement INAP on AIN SSP,we defined 14 ASEs,and desinged 3 processes and 9 procedures to provide AIN services such as Personal Number service and Call Forwarding service.
