Propagation invariance and 3D light fields

Abstract: Wave-fields that propagate in free space while maintaining invariant characteristics are important for technological applications and they are interesting from a fundamental point of view. Conditions for generalized propagation- invariant wave-fields are discussed and specific examples are presented. Propagation invariance in a limited region of space is considered as well.!5
