摘要

The adsorption behavior of imidazoline derivative as a cationic inhibitorrnfor inhibiting galvanic Corrosion has been investigated by using electrochemicalrnmethods and atomic force microscopy (AFM) technology. The results show that therninhibitor adsorbs on the surface of carbon steel (CS) while it does not adsorb on thernsurface of stainless steel (SS) in aqueous NaCl solution. When the two metals arernelectrically coupled in NaCl solution, the inhibitor can adsorb to the surface of bothrnCS and SS. However, in this case, the surface coverage of the inhibitor film formedrnon the CS decreases compared with that on the surface of single CS immersed in thernsame electrolyte, and the adsorbability of the inhibitor on the surface of CS isrnweakened.
