Tianwan NPP Completion supported by Framatome ANP

摘要

Tianwan Nuclear Power Station could eventually consist of four 1000-MW units. Phase 1 isrnalready well underway with the construction of two Russian-designed VVER-1000 Modelrn"NPP 91" units. These two units are being built on the basis of international cooperationrnbetween the plant operator Jiangsu Nuclear Power Cooperation (JNPC), the plant designerrnAtom Energo Project (SPAEP) and Russian companies as well as a large number ofrninternational subcontractors. Chinese enterprises are responsible for civil construction as wellrnas system erection and startup. Unit 1 is scheduled to go on line in December 2004, with Unitrn2 following one year later.
