摘要

History has shown that Chinese-based conglomerates seem to be ahead of their Indo-Pak counterparts in terms of technological evolution and the ability to realize technology on time. On the other hand a closer look reveals that in this era of globalization, many a times, general Chinese supervision does not guarantee operational excellence similar to that experienced under the European or American regulations in South Asia. Given the reality that Chinese multinationals experience sturdy competition in South Asia from other counterparts from Europe, Asia & America, it becomes imperative to comprehend that guaranteeing operational excellence in South Asia particularly for Chinese management, requires focus on employee contentment & motivation (the two key elements for operational and long term excellence in South Asia). This focal point can be achieved only by enhanced understanding of cross cultural divergence in term of middle management and how these divergent ideas are sources of unconstructive, abstract but significant consequences.
