Best Practices for Personal Computing Equipment Procurement

摘要

This study analyzes the complexity of the personal computer services procurement that currently exists in organizations, and proposes the application of best practices for reducing such complexity. To introduce our proposal we analyze a case study of a high-technology firm in Mexico. The fundamentals for change in the process, as well as the results obtained in from observations in the case, are shown. Finally, a methodology is proposed to allow for generalization, as well as its corresponding validation.
