摘要

The extraction by supercritical fluids has acquired so much interest in last years, specially in the obtaining of essential oils due to its non contaminant condition of process, in addition the features of selectivity and solubility that show these fluids if they are compare with organic solvents used by traditional methods. Those can produce degradation of essential oil because of calories charges required for their application. On the other hand, for carry out the supercritical extraction it has been used CO_2 in supercritical condition. Taking account the import and export data of anise essential oil it was selected anise seeds as raw material of this research. The seed selected has so much application in the liquors industry, beverages, foods, etc. in Venezuela. In this sense, this research has as major objective evaluate the possibility of anise essential oil extraction by laboratory supercritical carbon dioxide in order to reproduce a plant design at pilot scale based on results found.
