Fabrication of Flexible LCD using Freestanding Film Substrates

摘要

We fabricated a reflective type of flexible LCDs using freestanding plastic film substrates. Some fabrication issues on plastic LCDs without film attaching on glass substrates are discussed in this work. Finally, we achieved well-controlled gap uniformity of 2" plastic LCD, and it shows good electro-optic characteristics.
