Based on Carbon Emission Reduction, the Green Sustainable Urban Transport-Related Ecosystem Planning in Chinese Pearl River Delta

摘要

The process of urbanization for areas in pearl river delta is characterized by population density andindustrial productivity increasing, unreasonable urban spatial form and quick urban sprawl, explosive growthof population, which leads to rapid growth of transport-related carbon emissions and urban degradation andperi-urban green space. Trans port-related carbon emission reduction is a systemically ecological engineeringand a key aspect of sustainable urban development. It is excellent ways to layout reasonably urban spatialform, curb urban sprawl, strengthen green public一transport network management, preserve high density anduniform distribution of green space. The green urban transport-related ecosystem concerns on reducing road-based passengers travel demand and private vehicles usage, minizing fossilfuel consumption and carbonemission, which is great distribution of keeping urban ecosystem balance.
