A test of Membrane Bio-Reactor with submerged membc}ane was curled out for the application tomunicipal and domestic wastewater treatment The test results show that treatability of the MembraneBio-Reactor of BOD,COD,TSS,T-N and E.coll is high. Particularly removal rate of E.coli achieve 6 Log in thistest A study of application of the Membrane Bio-lZeactor to munidpal wastewater shows that process ofthis test which consists of 3 tanks. such as De-nitrification, Pre-aeration and Nikcification tanks, would Thievebetter treatability with lower power consumption than other processes if the process is operated at adequatemixed liquor. This study is examined by better oxygen transfer rate 1n another test's results. And thisstudy shows that use of new membrane unit which enhances cleaning performance of membrane surface byup-ward aeration flow also contributes to better treatability with lower power consumption.
