Algal blooms worldwide rise many challenges to drinking water production.AOM have been reported to become important precursors of DBPs(Xie,et al.2013).It has been reported that chlorination of AOM produced more nitrogenous DBPs and less carbonaceous DBPs than did chlorination of NOM(Fang,et al.2010).As a strong oxidant, ozonation prior to chlorination has been widely used for the conventional process in drinking water treatment. It was found that ozone can react with DBP precursors and affect the formation of DBPs(Zhou,et al.2015).This study was designed to investigate the effects of ozonation on AOM and AOM derived DBPs in past chlorination.
