The present invention relates to a method for distinguishing Berberis koreana Palib. and Berberis amurensis Rupr. from a genetic marker derived from chloroplast genome. When a primer according to the present invention is used, the Berberis koreana Palib. and Berberis amurensis Rupr. can be easily and accurately distinguished by a small amount of samples. In addition, when using a species-specific primer developed by the method of the present invention, a valuable genetic resource can be protected by distinguishing a Korean special product, Berberis koreana Palib., and also reliability of raw materials can be restored by grasping the raw materials of medicinal herbs (Berberis koreana Palib. and Berberis amurensis Rupr.) which are mixed and distributed without classification.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
