Mohr-Mascheroni constructions

摘要

Through history, mathematicians have taken delight in limiting the set of instruments used in effecting geometric constructions. In this paper, we consider geometric constructions effected only by compass. It is shown that any construction possible by means of straightedge and compass is also possible by using compass alone.
