Editorial

摘要

Recent years have seen a significant increase in the submission rate for both Theory and Methods and Simulation and Computation series of Communications in Statistics. In 2005, there were nearly 450 submissions to Theory and Methods and about 225 to Simulation and Computation, thus resulting in a total submission of nearly 675 manuscripts. For the year 2006, we project similar figures, if not more! This is almost double the rate of submission when I took over the editorship five years ago!
